For the past two and a half months I have been here I usually go to the markets to hang out with friends and enjoy the shopping and food. I finally decided it is time I go with my camera for the sole purpose of shooting. So that is what I did. Starting off by walking down to Columbia Road Flower Market, (which I absolutely love). And then made my way down to the usual Brick Lane and Spitafields. It was great.
Taken from the upstairs window of a cute little second hand bookshop. Unfortunately the stores are hiding behind all the flower stalls, but they have some very unique gifts, so I tried to sneak my way through the flowers to get a look at the store trinkets.
I loved how many men were there carrying huge bouquets of flowers. How happy their wives and girlfriends will be when they arrive home with the surprise.
Most street fashion photographers immediately head to Brick Lane for the latest styles. But I loved the crowd over at the flower market just as much.

This couple loved their acid wash denim. I tried on a pair of amazing jeans in American Apparel the other day very similar to hers, but refuse to pay in pounds so will wait until Christmas when I can get them for so much cheaper in the States.

Now on to Brick Lane. Every Sunday in East London is like Christmas, and when the sun is shining on Sundays it's like having that perfect snow fall on Christmas morning. Everyone is a lot happier and it makes for the ideal, picture perfect setting.
